Outdoor Elements is located in Houston, Texas and serves the city and its surrounding areas. With a growing staff and a large fleet of equipment, we are ready to handle jobs of any size and scope. Owner Derek Steele has been in the landscape architecture business for over 18 years and has an outstanding reputation among his peers and with his customers. You can feel confident knowing Outdoor Elements is your partner.
Our core values are simple, straightforward and evident in the way we conduct business.
We understand the worth of serving others. In business, this translates into caring for our customers, our community, the environment and our team.
What makes us different?
We know there are many companies in the Houston area that build pools, install landscapes and construct outdoor living areas. We pride ourselves on the differences that set us apart from the competition.
Our product is truly custom
We don’t have a standard pool/outdoor kitchen/living area package, because nothing we build is standard. Each client is free to choose the design, size, features, finishes – you name it – that he or she desires. This is how we like to design and build outdoor environments and pools because we feel it gives our customers the opportunity to truly have the outdoor space of their dreams. Our only limitation; when it comes to the pool, we exclusively build inground, gunite pools, no other type.
We value exceptional design
A thoughtful, well-planned design that considers the owner’s needs and the existing architecture is a precursor to each and every job. A professional, who holds a degree in landscape architecture, executes an individualized plan for each job. Her AutoCAD renderings will become the blueprints from which our own skilled tradesmen will work to complete the project.
We offer the complete package
We believe that a truly exceptional space is made up of many elements – a pool and outdoor living space with beautiful landscaping; or a covered patio, amazing outdoor bar and stunning fire pit. Whatever your needs, it should blend beautifully with your existing architecture and function flawlessly. Outdoor Elements specializes in delivering this entire experience. Because we have a large, talented team of craftsmen on staff, you never have to worry if the lighting will integrate with the landscape or if the pool will coordinate with the outdoor kitchen. We employee our own crews and oversee projects with many facets, keeping them all in sync.
We've been doing this for quite awhile
Derek Steele, the owner of Outdoor Elements, has been working in this space for close to 20 years. Outdoor Elements has been operating since 2014. Before that, Derek built, grew and sold a successful outdoor construction firm that was well-known and respected in the Houston market. It’s important to know that your construction partner is stable, has a solid reputation and will be around for follow-up for years to come.
